Operations Head – Job description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Travel Operations Head manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support, and also handles tour assignments. Shall have overall control over day-to-day operations.
Should be service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, guides the operations teams to address any customer feedback and vendor management issues. Should be able to think clearly in emergencies and ensure smooth tour operations in accordance with schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u27a2 Agent Ads and familiarization trips
\u27a2 Brochure Management
\u27a2 Conduct training on service standards for employees.
\u27a2 Develop corporate governance measures.
\u27a2 Develop disaster relief, incident and contingency guidelines.
\u27a2 Develop safety and security guidelines for developed schedules.
\u27a2 Ensure accurate and timely reporting of vendors’ performance.
\u27a2 Ensure tour operations follow regulations including visa and immunization requirements.
\u27a2 Evaluate how latest technology trends can be leveraged on to improve productivity and innovation.
\u27a2 Evaluate performance of travel operations teams.
\u27a2 Gather and analyze feedback for operational improvements and product development.
\u27a2 Implement department’s recruitment and retention efforts.
\u27a2 Manage budgets in accordance with work plans.
\u27a2 Manage customer issues and disputes.
\u27a2 Manage escalated contractual issues with existing vendors.
\u27a2 Monitor adherence to service level standards by vendors.
\u27a2 Monitor vendors’ adherence to safety and health guidelines at sites.
\u27a2 Optimize effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns
\u27a2 Prepare and implement Sales Plan, promote and market the business, sometimes to new or niche markets
\u27a2 Propose budgets for management approval.
\u27a2 Provide on-the-job training to staff.
\u27a2 Recommend improvements to customer service experience.
\u27a2 Review customer demand data to support the product and experience development department.
\u27a2 Schedule tour guiding assignments based on fit and availability.
\u27a2 Travel Expos & Travel Shows<\/p>\n\n\n\n
