Below is JD of the position BDM,
Job Descriptions:
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company\u2019s products\/services addressing or predicting clients\u2019 objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Meet with customers\/clients face to face or over the phone
Foster and develop relationships with customers\/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate
Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
Job Specification:
Master\u2019s degree in business, marketing or related field.
Experience in sales, marketing or related field.
Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
