Experience \u2013 1-4  years
Salary \u2013  Hike over CTC
Qualification \u2013Post Graduate or Doctorate in Biotechnology; MSc\/PhD in Bioinformatics with a background of Biotechnology.
JD:
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Searching experience:
    \u00b7      Understanding of Patent Databases, such as Total Patents;
    \u00b7      Well versed with searching of patent as well as non-patent literature searches;
    \u00b7      Able to Formulate Search Strings for Identified Invention and Perform Patentability, FTO, Landscape and Invalidity Search.
    \u00b7      Experience in biological sequence searching (BLAST). Well Versed with Protein\/gene Sequence Searches using various freely available as well as paid databases such as Stn, Ncbi and Patent Lens. Experience in using other databases for biologics (such as GenomeQuest, CAS Registry, Derwent Geneseq, and PatBase), specialized information tools (e.g., STN Express), other internet resources, and patent classification systems.
     
    Experience with analysis of Patent and Non-patent references to identify Prior Art for patentability, FTO as well as infringement analysis and mapping the features. Identification of invention with understanding of Patent Drafting and prosecution.

    Good communication skills, both written and verbal, is a prerequisite.
     
    The compensation will not be a constraint for the right candidate and current salary may be a one of the factors when deciding compensation.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
