Responsibilities:\u00a0Data Scientist<\/p>\n
Data Scientists will work close to the problem domain. Data Scientist understands the problem, analyzes <\/p>\n
possible solutions, select most suitable solution or set of solutions along with set of features. Once a <\/p>\n
feasibility of a solution is established, engineering team will productionize the same. Several iteration of <\/p>\n
this process may be required to keep on improving the accuracy of the solution. Interaction within Data <\/p>\n
Science team will enable different ideas and solution approaches for the given problem.<\/p>\n

Key skills:<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Strong mathematical modeling rigor of at least one kind (clustering, classification, stochastic <\/p>\n
modeling, time series etc). <\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Will implement solutions to business problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization <\/p>\n
tools, and machine learning techniques and statistics<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Build data-science and technology based algorithmic solutions to address business needs<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Analyze, define and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, <\/p>\n
interfaces with other systems, auditing, reporting requirements and production <\/p>\n
configurationCreate scripts and packages for data integration, data maintenance or bug fixes.<\/p>\n
\uf0d8 Hands on with at least one statistical analysis tool<\/p>\n
Expectations:<\/p>\n
– 1+ years of Machine Learning, NLP, or\u00a0Data\u00a0Mining<\/p>\n
– Fluency in tools such as Python, R, Matlab, SAS, SPSS, Hadoop<\/p>\n
– Experience working with large\u00a0data\u00a0sets and Big\u00a0Data\u00a0– Hive, Oozie, Pig<\/p>\n
