Salary: Upto 12 LPA <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\nJob Responsibilities:
1. Carries out detailed mechanical design, simulation, and design verification testing,
as required.
2. Responsible for the specification compliance of designs
3. Responsible for mechanical part design with material selection taking into
consideration obsolescence, availability, and cost
4. Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design reviews
5. Ensures design files and information are kept up to date, and stored in accordance
with departmental procedures
6. Highlights all mechanical technical risks to the Reporting Manager
7. Keeps up to date with the latest manufacturing techniques and drawing
standards 8. Follows departmental processes relating to management of
designs
9. Responsible for Quality Control
10. Responsible for meeting design to cost figures
11. Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner
12. Ensures the mechanical design output fits in with all other aspects of the
design
13. Work closely with operations, manufacturing, and production engineers to ensure
products are designed and manufactured efficiently.
14. Responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the Reporting Manager
and Project Management teams
15. Undertaking research
16. Testing and measuring the performance of systems
17. Designing and implementing systems to improve efficiency and
sustainability
18. Keeping up to date with the latest design standards
19. Solving complex problems
20. Analysing and interpreting data and information
21. Creating reports and documentation
22. Responsible for 2D detailing with GD&T and DFM
23. Responsible for generation of Assembly drawings with bills of
materials
24. Responsible for production techniques and costing
25. Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD Fusion 360
26. Strong knowledge on links, bar mechanisms, gears, pulleys, motion transmission
systems.
27. Hands-on experience with thermal, displacement, stress, structural & vibration
analysis<\/p>\n\n\n\n
