Duties\/Responsibilities:
\uf0b7 The delivery of enterprise database architecture projects such as\u00a0Oracle\u00a0database infrastructure
design, builds, upgrades, migrations, support and performance tuning
\uf0b7 The position involves a mixture of production support and project delivery activities
\uf0b7 The individual filling this position is expected to provide production support ownership, tracking
and resolving database related tasks
\uf0b7 Additionally, fulfilling requests, resolving incidents within SLAs, reviewing service related reports
(e.g. database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis, to ensure service related
issues are identified and resolved within established SLA
\uf0b7 The individual will also be expected to deliver enterprise-class database solutions including
Database 19c,12c, RAC, Data Guard, GoldenGate
\uf0b7 The individual must be expert delivering\u00a0Oracle\u00a0engineered systems (Exadata, ODA, ZFS) to the
highest standards. The individual will be a member of a global consulting team
\uf0b7 The\u00a0Oracle\u00a0DBA\u00a0is expected to be a customer service oriented individual
\uf0b7 The individual must be focused on deploying projects within agreed timelines and budgets,
managing and resolving issues within customer SLAs and expectations, establishing and
maintaining communication with customers to keep them updated with status of their projects
or support requests
\uf0b7 The individual will also be responsible for initiating and performing changes on production
systems and proactively escalating any issues that cannot be resolved within the established
timeframes
\uf0b7 Lead database migration (Including Cross Platform Migrations), tuning, operationalization, and
support efforts for\u00a0Oracle\u00a0RDBMS 11gR1, 11gR2, and 12c enterprise environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\uf0b7 Design and implement Oracle\u2019s High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for
Oracle database including, RAC and Data Guard Design and implement data replication
strategies using replication technologies such as Active Data Guard and GoldenGate
\uf0b7 Third-party tools Learn and support Oracle private cloud for database environments including
database container (CDB) and pluggable (PDB) database administration, snapshot and clone
management, multitenant architecture design, etc.
\uf0b7 Perform database maintenance and Optimizations tasks such as index usage analysis, index
management, statistics, partition management, data compression, etc.
\uf0b7 Troubleshooting and resolving database problems
\uf0b7 Performance tuning and optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools for
Oracle Design and implement processes for database backups, restores and recovery models
Design and implement database security solutions
\uf0b7 Oracle database security options Database architecture design, including optimal server and
storage design
\uf0b7 Design and implement automation solutions for routine tasks, system reporting, alerts, and
notifications using OEM 12c and custom scripts
Necessary Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
\uf0b7 10 plus years of Oracle DBA experience
\uf0b7 Strong understanding of database structure, theories, principles and practices Oracle
\uf0b7 Oracle Engineered Systems administration experience, including Exadata, Oracle Database
Appliance (ODA), ZFS Storage Appliance (ZS), etc. is preferred
\uf0b7 Previous consulting experience is preferred
\uf0b7 BS degree in Computing or other related field, or equivalent experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n
