The Games QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of motion sensor based mobile games on iOS, Android and
\nWeb platforms; Testing of video games on PC \/game consoles. You will be working in an energetic and highly creative
\nenvironment along with a group of highly talented, passionate, and successful individuals<\/p>\n
Scope of Role<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 The job entails testing games software and identifying and reporting bugs and issues, following a structured testing
\nmethodology to the highest possible specified quality standards, and always in full compliance to defined information
\nsecurity policy and controls.
\n\uf0b7 This involves testing the game in a systematic way, based against defined set of criteria, identifying problems and
\ncommunicating those issues via bug tracking databases and other mechanisms back to the Quality Assurance
\nCoordinator.
\n\uf0b7 You will test for bugs in the software, from complete crashes to minor glitches in the code. You also act as the game’s
\nfirst audience, often being asked to report on its playability, and identifying any aspects which could be improved.
\n\uf0b7 The Tester will also be responsible for providing feedback where any test cases, templates or tools used are in need of
\nimprovement.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
\n\uf0b7 Review game design and requirements documents and develop test plans
\n\uf0b7 Test and report issues using JIRA, an issue tracking system used by the company.
\n\uf0b7 Work with the production team on prioritizing the issues.
\n\uf0b7 Work closely with product team and designers to understand requirements for the purpose of quality assurance.
\n\uf0b7 Work independently with minimum guidance.
\n\uf0b7 Video game enthusiast with a knack for finding bugs
\n\uf0b7 Work as member of team assigned to a project for testing a specific game
\n\uf0b7 Execute and update Test cases assigned as per instructions and timelines
\n\uf0b7 Identify and report functionality bugs
\n\uf0b7 Write all bugs in conformance to internal standards and project specific requirements
\n\uf0b7 Update all bug databases with accurate and complete information
\n\uf0b7 Complete all tasks assigned, as per instructions and timelines<\/p>\n

\n\uf0b7 Identify and help implement opportunities for improvement in security, quality and process controls

EDUCATION
\n\uf0b7 0 to 3+ years of experience in QA testing of iPhone \/ iPad applications
\n\uf0b7 Qualified B.Tech\/ B.E. \/ Any Graduation (only if a gamer)
\n\uf0b7 Bachelor degree in technology, animation, game design or equivalent relevant experience
\n\uf0b7 Testing Course
\n\uf0b7 ISTQB qualified preferred<\/p>\n
