Site Engineer \u2013 Description of job profile:-<\/p>\n
Site Engineer will be responsible for installations and commissioning of
\nwork order in his assigned area. He ensures the target to be completed and
\nachieved on timely basis and present MIS accordingly to Project Leader
\nand Project Head.
\nHe will be coordinating with HO and Project Leader for completion of work,
\nand will escalate the issues and matter then and there to avoid delays.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities :-
\n\uf0b7 Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
\n\uf0b7 Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with
\ndesign and equipment specifications and safety standards.
\n\uf0b7 Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects
\n\uf0b7 Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering
\n\uf0b7 Carry out daytime and night time lighting surveys for installed lights.
\n\uf0b7 Responsible for the complete of specifically assigned tasks to time and
\ncost.
\n\uf0b7 Oversees inspections of installations, takes corrective action and makes
\ndesign changes when necessary.
\n\uf0b7 Performs night time investigation of street lighting outages periodically.
\n\uf0b7 Handles difficult contact situations with the public involving street lighting
\ninquiries and complaints.
\n\uf0b7 Prepares a wide variety of reports and correspondence in association
\nwith street lighting and related activities of the City.
\n\uf0b7 Acts as the City\u2019s representative of company in contact with the public
\ninvolving street lighting inquiries and complaints.<\/p>\n
Skills and Qualification:-
\n\uf0b7 BE\/ME Electrical, Should have 2-6 Yrs Experience in Installations and
\ncommissioning of electrical works.
\n\uf0b7 Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of street lighting
\nas related to the engineering, design, installation and inspection of lighting
\nsystems.
\n\uf0b7 Should have knowledge of modern electrical distribution and power
\nsystems.
\n\uf0b7 Ability to evaluate problems in the field and make on the spot decisions
\nand changes.
\n\uf0b7 Ability to prepare plans specifications and detailed material and labor cost
\nestimates.
\n\uf0b7 Should be able to writing of correspondence and reports in association
\nwith assigned duties.
\n\uf0b7 Should be able to keep financial records and analyze billings and cost
\ncharges to ascertain their accuracy.
\n\uf0b7 Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the
\npublic and with persons contacted in the course of the work.
\n\uf0b7 Ability to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of subordinate
\npersonnel.<\/p>\n
