Job description:

We are looking to hire a Sales Manager (Partner Program) to acquire new customers through working with our partners.

As a Partner Sales Manager, you will be responsible for working cross functionally to define our partner ecosystem strategy, identify business objectives and facilitate the partner journey. The ideal candidate has a business background that enables them to engage at C-level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with partners and partner sales representatives. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

You will be the primary point of contact to ensure ease of doing business via Partner Program. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, partner programs, and business standards to grow the company revenue through the partner program. Your broad responsibilities will include helping to define and execute against the partner program, establishing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organizations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage partner lifecycle including on-boarding partners, create a detailed project plan to monitor and track your progress using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Develop and define partner engagement models and success KPI.
  • Document and operationalize partner management best practices.
  • Build and manage cross-functional relationships with the partners in order to penetrate the account further by focusing on C-level engagements.
  • Represent the Partner Program team in all operational/business projects supporting our partners.
  • Work with Marketing to proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs, gaps and requirements to be successful on an ongoing basis and will assist with establishing sales enablement programs for partners, sharing knowledge with them.
  • Act as a bridge of communication between the partners and the Technical team to resolve issues and respond to escalation requests

Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the execution ability.

  • Manage potential channel conflict with other partners or sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Regularly report on partner achievements and assigned metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales in the software/technology industry.
  • Proven experience in software solutions sales with, through and to partners
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives and strong familiarity with decision-making processes of customers.
  • Confident using outbound tactics to generate leads, including telephone sales/cold calling, virtual meetings, digital prospecting, and digital events

Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, both in registering new partners and in activating them (i.e. making sure they go-live and generate new business).

  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skill.
  • Verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
