Opening for Business Development Manager – Software Services in Chandigarh

Exp: 5 to 10 years

Salary: Upto 12 LPA plus lucrative Incentives ( Upto 50% Commission)

Location – Chandigarh

We are looking for a business development manager to help increase our business in the data analytics
software space and/or customized ERP software space. This is a commission tilted, significantly
challenging and rewarding position that requires skills broken down as:
1) Selling Skills
a. Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end
including qualification, proposal, final selection, due diligence, and closing
b. Full sales lifecycle expertise, Handling the Up level lead generation and setting up
online demo meeting and f2f meetings
c. Good Acumen of root cause analysis & nice level of patience to handle customer
queries
d. Outstanding commercial skills at all levels of contacts: Executive, Middle
management, Production floor & technical Proven sales success Including business
to business experience
e. Demonstrated experience in sales management & technical sales
f. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
g. Ability to communicate easily in English orally and written
h. Strong oral, presentation and written communication skills.
i. A disciplined, yet flexible and creative approach
j. 8+years’ work experience in a sales or technical role in private and government
segments
k. Positive, ‘’can do’’ attitude

2) Technical Skills
a. Good Technical skills in terms of understanding the Product / Process at different
Verticals / Industries
b. Coordinating between the technical team and the client for ensuring smooth
customer on-boarding
c. Good understanding of ERP solutions and other technologies
d. BSC/MBA /Eng or equivalent educational qualifications or relevant work experience

3) Personal qualities essential for success in this high profile position
a. High level of self-confidence and determination in customer facing arena
b. Extrovert is highly preferred over an introvert – however, the communication style must
be soothing to a variety of people in a variety of positions
c. Straight-forwardness in the personality make-up is a must
d. Flexibility to travel anywhere as per the company requirements

4) Required:

Fluency in one or more Indian languages

· Good Technical understanding of ERP solutions and Data Analytics (preferable)

· Ambition to develop and progress

· Experience in more than one market/application/geography

· Some govt. projects experience would be a plus

· Technical knowledge and software back ground would be preferred
